National Conference on Peer Support – Toronto ON – Apr 27 to 29, 2016
The 2016 National Conference on Peer Support (NCPS) is in Toronto Ontario at the Marriott Toronto Eaton Centre. Up to 400 delegates from across Canada and around the world are expected to gather under the theme of Leading Recovery. Keynotes include Pat Capponi (Peer Support and Mental Health Advocate), Silken Laumann (Author and Olympian), and Ian Dawe (Physician-in-chief and recovery champion of Ontario Shores Mental Health Sciences) with greetings from Michael Wilson (new Chair of Mental Health Commission of Canada). The National Standard of Practice for Peer Supporters
Promoting peer support as a valued and respected service offering is at the core of the PSACC Mission.
